DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER? -
"Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will
listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with
all your heart." Jeremiah 29:12-13
Do you know the power of prayer? Do you believe that prayer can
calm your stormy seas? I believe you and I will never know the
importance and power of prayer until we see our Lord Jesus. You and
I must talk to our Lord daily praising Him and then telling Him your
worries and needs.
"The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are
attentive to their cry...The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears
them; he delivers them from all their troubles." Psalm 34:15,17
Thursday was the National Day of Prayer. I pray that each one of us
made a special time to pray with our Lord for our Nation and asking
Him to move mountains of circumstances for standers around the
world. Prayer makes a difference in your own personal life and in
your family's lives. I cannot tell you how many times God has
shown me His mighty power by answering my prayers.
"I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and
hear my prayer. Show the wonder of your great love, you who save
by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes."
Psalm 17:6-7
My personal prayer today is that each of you will believe in the
POWER of prayer! I am truly convinced, that only when we get to
Heaven, will we find out how we could have received many more
miracles, IF we only would had made time praying, crying out,
asking, and seeking our Heavenly Father.
Prayer is not always measured by the time you pray, but by your
relationship with your Heavenly Father. How well do you know Him?
How much time do you talk to Him daily? Pray short prayers all the
time throughout the day!
"Be joyful always; pray continually, give thanks in all
circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
I Thessalonians 5:16-18
Do you believe God is moving behind the scenes when you are praying?
We do! Over and over again, we hear and see answers to prayers
because of people praying earnestly seeking the Lord's will and way
in their own personal life. That is why we share on Saturday
people's testimonies of God answering and moving in their life and
marriage. Our Lord God is meeting standers, needs, financially,
getting employment, receiving increased salaries, physical healings,
children protected and spouses starting to go to church, just to list
a few answers to prayers.
I believe prayer is more important than anything else you can do to
bring your spouse home or to get answers to any and all of the
circumstances that you are facing today. Bob and I being alive and
well is all due to the power of prayer, bringing glory and honor to
our Lord. There are hundreds of answers to prayers since the Lord
touched me in 1986 to start standing and praying for Bob and our
family.
"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" Genesis 18:14
As I read the Gospels, I see Jesus teaching, but I see Him praying
to His Heavenly Father every day. May we follow His example and be
like His Disciples.
May each of us never give up praying for our loved ones and others.
The Lord every day shows and reminds us to pray for certain people.
One of the enemies tricks is to keep each of us so busy, that we do
not have time to pray and have time alone with the Lord. Make
time! It is imperative to find the time for the sake of you and all
your loved ones! Only when you get to Heaven will you see how the
Lord used each of us to pray for our loved ones, our country, our
friends and for the many other marriages.
So let's pray and read God's Word daily. Never stop praying and
believing for our Lord to touch hearts and bring home thousands of
prodigals home every week. There is power in prayer!
