Blessed 2006!
I hope you had a merry Xmas. My family and I did. Praise be to God. Amen.
My message to you for the new year, 2006, is about the lessons learnt from this year, 2005, particularly and generally since May 2003 that L4T has been working with CSN. This message is aptly summarised by His Grace, the Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Okeke, the Archbishop of Onitsha.
In section 9 of his Pastoral letter (Our Glorious Heritage) presented at the beginning of the First Onitsha Archdiocesan Synod, His Grace reflected on the leadership examples of past Catholic leaders in Onitsha.
These lessons would serve us all well if we could learn from them. They are: Faith; Hope; Charity; Self sacrifice; Hard work; Trust in Providence; Inventiveness; Vision; and Knowledge.
I wish you a prosperous, spiritually fruitful and peaceful 2006.
